Enjoy white water rafting in the heart of downtown South Bend! The East Race Waterway is the first man-made white water rafting course in North America. Since opening in 1984, it has provided water enthusiasts and thrill seekers alike. Every steep drop and rush of water are only part of the thrill. Come by yourself, or with a whole group! There are various raft sizes available for all skill levels.

Pass are per person and cannot be transferred or shared.  All rides must be used same day. 

Additional Information

• Footwear that secured to the foot is required. (Tennis shoes, Tevas, Chacos, or water shoes work well)
  • Flip flops, slides, Crocs, and sharp jewelry/objects are not allowed. 
• All equipment is provided. Required height for rafting is 54”. Children under the age of 16 and meet the 54" height restriction must be accompanied by an adult in the raft.
