Important information

The Summer Intensive program is recognized for its strong training, diverse classes, rigorous schedule and supportive faculty. Dancers are encouraged to refine their strength in classical ballet technique and explore new movement. The summer Intensive program is designed for the serious ballet student ages 8 and up. The Summer Intensive program will culminate with an In-Studio Showing for all dancers and their families.

Red Level: June 30th, 2025 until July 18, 2025. Weekdays, 10:00 AM - 4:00 PM. Red class is for advanced (pointe proficient) ballet dancers ages 11-18. SJDT level 6 & 7.

Blue Level: June 30th, 2025 until July 18, 2025. Weekdays, 10:00 AM - 4:00 PM. Blue class is for intermediate (begining pointe or pre-pointe) ballet dancers ages 10-13. SJDT level 5.

Green Level:  July 07, 2025 until July 18, 2025. Weekdays, 1:00 PM - 4:00 PM. Green class is for youth ballet dancers ages 8-11. SJDT level 3 & 4.

*SJDT will not hold classes July 4th in observance of Independence Day 

The Adult Summer Intensive is an exciting and fun way to build community among fellow dance lovers. It is a unique experience designed for the advanced beginner to intermediate level dancer, though all levels are welcome to attend. Designed for ages 18+, the intensive offers Conditioning, Ballet Technique, and Variations. The Adult Summer Intensive program will culminate with an In-Studio Showing for all dancers and their families.

Adult Summer Intensive Session 1: June 2nd- 6th, 10am-2pm. 

Adult Summer Intensive Session 2: July 21st- 25th, 6pm-9pm.

REFUND AND WITHDRAWAL POLICIES for Children’s Division and Pre-Professional Ballet Program | Tuition, registration fees, deposits, and merchandise are non-refundable. Extenuating circumstances are taken into consideration by the Accountant, Artistic Director, Executive Director, and Board of Directors. Enrollment at SJDT is for the full school-year program. If you wish to withdraw your dancer from SJDT, our offices must be notified of the withdrawal in writing. Failure to attend class does not constitute a withdrawal. Withdrawals are acceptable in the case of a family move or student injury with a letter of medical release. Other cases should be discussed with the Artistic Director or Program Coordinator before a final decision is made. Tuition will continue to accrue and the parent or guardian is responsible for this amount until written notice is received. If a tuition refund is granted under circumstances of family move or injury, tuition will be prorated as of the 1st of the month following the written notice. Tuition will not be held as credit or carried on into the next school year.
