RoboCupJunior (RCJ) is a pre-college level robotics competition originating from the renowned World RoboCup™ AI-oriented Tournament. Unlike many other U.S.-based robotics competitions, RCJ places a strong emphasis on software algorithm development and encourages teams to innovate with their chosen hardware platforms.
At Storming Robots, our teams use open-source platforms instead of proprietary systems like LEGO. This approach offers greater expandability, compatibility, and cost-effectiveness, allowing students to develop deeper technical skills at a much lower initial investment.
