Description:

Bronze Cross begins the transition from lifesaving to lifeguarding and prepares candidates for responsibilities as assistant lifeguards. Candidates strengthen and expand their lifesaving skills and begin to apply the principles and techniques of active surveillance in aquatic facilities. Bronze Cross emphasizes the importance of teamwork and communication in preventing and responding to aquatic emergencies.

 

Prerequisites: Minimum 13 years of age and has completed Bronze Medallion OR under the age of 13 but has completed Bronze Star, and Bronze Medallion.

Emergency and First Aid Certificate.

 

Requirements: Canadian Lifesaving Manual Book, CPR Pocket Mask, Canadian First Aid Manual Book, & Fox-40 Whistle.

Prerequisites:

Minimum 13 years of age or under the age of 13 but has completed Bronze Star. Emergency and First Aid Certificate. Bronze Medallion completed.
