Description:

This Danish Conversation class is for people who want to practice and develop their language skills through conversation. The students must be able to speak and understand advanced Danish, at an equivalent to B2-C1 level:

  • Interact fluently and spontaneously with native speakers.
  • Understand detailed speech, including abstract and technical discussions.
  • Read complex texts, newspaper articles, and opinion pieces.
  • Write clear, detailed texts, presenting arguments and discussing pros and cons.
  • Vocabulary is broad enough for various topics, and grammar errors are less frequent.
  • Engage in debates, express opinions, and discuss hypothetical situations.

In this conversation-based class we set aside textbooks in favor of articles and other engaging texts that inspire discussion. We explore a wide range of topics and focus on expanding vocabulary in meaningful contexts. Grammar is addressed as it naturally arises in conversation, helping students work through challenges as they come up.
