Description:

This course is for Advanced students at the SSCC, or for those who have studied Norwegian for at least three years elsewhere and reached a solid level of both spoken and written skills. To join, students should have achieved at least a B1 level in Norwegian - which includes written skills, and a confirmed knowledge of Norwegian grammar.

The focus of the course is to further develop conversational skills, build fluency, and strengthen comprehension.Students work on expressing themselves using more complex sentence structures and a broader vocabulary, both in speech and writing.

The course is tailored to the needs of the participants, and grammar will be introduced or reviewed as needed—particularly when questions or challenges arise in communication. Content is often drawn from current events, literature, or authentic materials, encouraging deeper engagement with the language and culture.

Notes: No textbook is used in this course. Instead, class materials include articles, podcasts, and other tailored resources.

Prerequisites: Norwegian B2. If you are unsure of your current level, please do the placement test on the website!
