This Upper Intermediate 2 course is a continuation of Upper Intermediate with Anne-Mette, intended for students who have completed the previous levels or have equivalent knowledge of Norwegian (B1). The course continues to strengthen oral skills, focusing on fluency and pronunciation, and broaden vocabulary while reinforcing grammar from earlier stages.

New grammar topics will include more complex sentence structures, main and subordinate clauses, conjunctions and subjunctions, expanded use of adjectives and adverbs, and focus on irregular verbs. Students will practice expressing opinions, comparisons, and arguments with more precision and fluency.

Cultural themes remain central to the course, offering readings and discussion of current events and TV and media. By the end of the Upper Intermediate year (4 courses), students will feel more confident navigating more advanced conversations and texts in Norwegian.

Prerequisites: Upper Intermediate course with Anne-Mette or equivalent skills (Norwegian level B1). If you are unsure of your current level, please take the placement test available on the website.
