This Intermediate course is a continuation of the Beginners classes in Finnish, intended for students who have completed the previous level or have equivalent knowledge of Finnish (A1).

The course strengthens communication skills, expands vocabulary, and reinforces key grammar from the previous courses. New grammatical structures are also introduced. The grammar will cover topics such as conjunctions, subordinate clauses, how to use nouns in their definite and indefinite forms, as well as indefinite numerals, quantifiers, adjectives, and adverbs. Students will continue developing their ability to engage in nuanced conversations and express opinions, preferences, and experiences with some details.

Cultural insights remain an important part of the curriculum, deepening learners’ understanding of Finnish society and traditions.
