This Intermediate course 1B is for students who have started the intermediate course with Evan in March or for new students who have obtained a solid foundation of Norwegian elsewhere. The course continues to build on foundational skills while also reviewing and reinforcing grammatical principles, expanding vocabulary, and developing students’ confidence in speaking, reading, and writing Norwegian.

The curriculum continues to integrate cultural insights, by providing learners with an understanding of the Norwegain society and traditions. By the end of the course, students can continue to the Upper Intermediate year.

Prerequisites: Norwegian Intermediate 1A at the Scandinavian School, or equivalent knowledge acquired elsewhere. Students should have level A1-A2 on the CEFR scale. Students are welcome to evaluate their skills with our placement test.
