This Upper Intermediate course is a continuation for Monika's class UI, intended for students who have completed the previous levels at the SSCC or have equivalent knowledge of Swedish (B1/B2).

The course continues to strengthen communication skills, focusing on fluency and pronunciation, and broaden vocabulary while reinforcing grammar from earlier stages. New grammar topics will include more complex sentence structures, main and subordinate clauses, conjunctions and subjunctions, expanded use of adjectives and adverbs, and focus on irregular verbs. Students will practice expressing opinions, comparisons, and arguments with more precision and fluency.

Cultural themes remain central to the course, offering readings and discussion of current events and TV and media. In January, this group will transfer to an Advanced group. In this Upper Intermediate, students are confident navigating advanced conversations and texts in Swedish.
