This semester's designs will have a spring focus.

This course is an introduction to the art of frosting and decorating a cake. Students will learn to use cake decorating tools, bags, and tips. Using buttercream frosting and a color wheel, students will create the prefect tint for their decorations. Students will make cupcake critters, cupcake cakes, and many kinds of flowers, borders, lettering, and seasonal decorations. Students will be required to bring in cakes every other week starting with week 2. Please have students tie their hair back in a ponytail.

Families will supply cakes and a cake keeper (or other container) to safely bring decorated cakes home.

Tuition: $120/$87.60 for volunteers
