  Informations importantes

We offer baseball and softball for kids ages 4-12 in the Spring every year at our 2-field complex located at 700 S. Mary Street and at other area organizations with whom we interlock. We follow PONY Organization rules. Depending on the number of teams in the 8U, 10U, and 12U programs, travel to other cities may be required.

We are a 501(c)4 non-profit organization. Our Board Members and Coaches serve you and maintain the complex on a 100% volunteer basis.

T-ball will be scheduled for 6 to 8 games, played on Saturday Mornings at All-Star Legacy Fields @ Senter Park. The season is currently scheduled to begin on March 29, 2025.

Coach Pitch and Kid Pitch Softball and Baseball will play 2 games a week. The days and times are TBD. The season is currently scheduled to begin the week of March 10. Please know that this is a recreational league where everyone makes the team and receives playing time. We will be holding player evaluations on February 15th and 22nd, where your child will come out and run through drill and practice. Then, those without teams will be placed on different teams, making sure talent levels are as evenly distributed as possible. Depending on the number of teams in each division, there is a possibility that teams travel to other cities, including Crowley, Fort Worth, Godley, Evermon, and Joshua, for games. Since the Arlington Optimist Club is affiliated with the PONY organizations, we schedule 12 games a season to make everyone eligible for All-Star postseason play. The goal of our organization is to have enough teams to play all our games here in Arlington. However, we also understand that if we only have a few teams, than it becomes daunting to play the same teams over and over, which is why we will partner with other area PONY organizations to increase the diversity of play.

For our Coach Pitch and Kid Pitch teams there will be some opportuniteis through out the season to complete a mid season tournament and playoffs. After the season starting in June 2025, Post-season tournaments play for All Stars will be available through PONY Organization for baseball and softball in coach pitch and kid pitch according to Arlington Optimist Club rules as established by league directors and coaches.
