Calling in a Freeze: A Winter Reiki & Art-Making Workshop
As nature slows and the earth turns inward, winter invites us to pause — to honor what is ready to be released, and to preserve what still needs time to rest and transform beneath the surface. Calling in a Freeze is a reflective Reiki and art-making experience designed to help you process what needs to be frozen, released, or gently set aside during the winter season.

Through guided Reiki meditation and intuitive art-making, participants will explore themes of letting go, protection, and renewal. Using symbolic materials — such as cool tones, natural elements, and layered textures — you’ll create a visual representation of the emotions, patterns, or memories you wish to place in stillness. This process opens a sanctuary for abundance and new growth to emerge with the coming spring.

This workshop is a sacred opportunity to connect with your inner rhythm, honor cycles of rest and rebirth, and create art as ritual for transformation. All materials and gentle guidance are provided — no art experience needed, only a willingness to listen to your inner winter." 

Program Policies: Refunds, Credits, and Scholarships

While we’re unable to provide refunds, a class credit will be issued if a class is cancelled, which you can apply to other art classes or Open Studio sessions. If you or your child cannot attend due to illness (with a doctor’s note), we’re happy to offer a full class credit. For individual missed sessions in multi-week classes, we’re unable to provide credits, but you may choose to donate your credit to support children’s programming scholarships. We appreciate your understanding!
