Description :

Silent Reading Party with Plaid Elephant Books | Friday, February 13th | 7PM - 9PM PM | Ages 18+

Attention book lovers! Grab your besties and join the Art Center of the Bluegrass and Plaid Elephant Books for an evening of bookish delights!

In addition to all the usual fun of our Silent Reading Party (7–9 PM), you and your crew can get crafty from 6–7 PM for an additional $10 as we create one pair of book-inspired polymer earrings.

We’ll also be hosting a Blind Date Book Swap during the Silent Reading Party! Bring a wrapped book to share—or use our supplies to wrap your book on-site before the event. Your packaging should include a brief description of the book’s content, but not the title or author.

It’s the perfect night to read, craft, swap, and swoon over great books with fellow book lovers! A warm drink and a $10 gift certificate to Plaid Elephant are also included within the ticket price.

Program Policies: Refunds, Credits, and Scholarships

While we’re unable to provide refunds, a class credit will be issued if a class is cancelled, which you can apply to other art classes or Open Studio sessions. If you or your child cannot attend due to illness (with a doctor’s note), we’re happy to offer a full class credit. For individual missed sessions in multi-week classes, we’re unable to provide credits, but you may choose to donate your credit to support children’s programming scholarships. We appreciate your understanding!

Scholarships are available based on financial need, space, and funding. To apply, please click here or contact Remonica Conner at remonica@artcenterky.org or 859-236-4054.

If you need special accommodations, please reach out at least 72 hours before the class start date at remonica@artcenterky.org or (859) 236-4054.
