Learn beginning drawing skills to explore your interests and translate your ideas into paintings.  Bring to class: 
• sketch book (NO COIL sketch pads) (5.5x8.5 to 8.5x11 sizes work well), 
a watercolor sketchbook is the best but not necessary 
•drawing ink pen(s) black ink, you’ll need to get one with waterproof ink once dry
•#2B pencils 
•kneaded eraser
•pencil sharpener
•portable watercolor paint set
•watercolor brushes: you’ll want at least two round brush sizes - like a #10 and a #6
•a small watercolor palette and an empty jar for water
