Don't fortger to sign up for the follow up project - Thursday, October 30 at 5:30pm. Make a 5x5 dish using the Vitrigraph made in previous class + another Viitrigraph pull

Vitrigraph is the process of heating a pot of glass in a special kiln until it flows out the bottom, creating long strands that can be pulled, twisted, and shaped into stringers, murrini, and cane. These hand-pulled elements can then be incorporated into fused glass artwork for incredible patterns and effects. It’s an exciting, somewhat unpredictable process — and a fun one to watch! Initial pull will begin between 5:30-6pm

About Kiln Club

• Think “book club” but for fused glass. Each month we’ll have a theme: sometimes technique-driven (like pulling vitrograph, combing, or coldworking), other times project-based (like making coasters, suncatchers, or platters).

• We’ll learn together, share resources and ideas, and make our own unique versions of each project.

• Everyone will take home finished work and a growing library of new techniques.

Looking forward to making this a fun, creative addition to our upcoming winter season.

Prérequis : For now, please keep this invite within our core group. We’re starting with a small class size as we test out the Kiln Club concept, and wanted to begin with those who have been most active in the glass studio.
