Gifts from the Heart for Valentines
January 18th | 11–1PM | Free for DIYcave Members 

Need inspiration for your Valentine’s Day gift this year? Skip the store‑bought stuff and make it handmade at the DIYcave!

This special member event explores some of the ways you can create heart‑shaped gifts using the tools and studios around the makerspace. We’ll walk through project ideas and techniques and upcoming classes from across the cave, including:

🪵 Wood Lathe & Woodworking – Turn heart shaped bowls or make two halfs of a heart in our single plank cutting board class 
🔥 Blacksmithing – Forge heart‑shaped hooks, keychains, or decorative pieces
🌈 Fused & Stained Glass – Craft colorful fused glass pocket hearts or stained glass sun‑catchers
🔧 Welding – Learn to cut metal and weld in our date night welding class 

Whether you’re making something sweet for a partner, a friend, or yourself, you’ll leave with inspiration, project pathways, and the confidence to bring your Valentine vision to life.
