So, you have an idea for your next glass project. But you're not sure how to get your idea transferred to glass?

This class is ideal for students who have taken the basics of stained glass and are ready to start designing their own projects. In this lesson we will cover the basics of using Procreate and a Cricut printer to streamline your pattern process.

This method can be used for copper foil or lead glass construction techniques.  Students will be creating a perdetermined design in this class.

During this two hour class you will learn:

• Pattern design best practices
• How to use Procreate software on your ipad to create layers and plan your design
• How to upload and cut out your digital designs on the Cricut vinyl cutter

If you are interested in learning the manual method of tracing and transfering your design to cardstock then cutting with pattern shears. Please contact us for Private Instruction.

Notes : REQUIREMENTS: You will need to bring an ipad with Procreate installed and a stylus for drawing. If you do not have an ipad, please contact us prior to enrolling to see if you can borrow one of ours. Please arrive for class in closed-toe, closed-heel shoes with socks that protect up to the ankle. Long hair must be tied back. Layers are encouraged as the shop can be very cold or very hot. If you have personal protective equipment such as your own safety goggles, please bring it with you. Otherwise, protective gear will be provided as needed.
