Free Design Workshops For Artists Interested in Participating in the Rubbish Renewed Eco Fashion Show

Are you curious about creating something from nothing? Wondering about the value of “trash” beyond the landfill — or the story it can become?

Sign up for one of the Rubbish Renewed free community design workshops! Rubbish Renewed is partnering with DIYcave to inspire and support new and emerging trash‑fashion designers of all ages.

We’ve created two 2‑hour workshops to help jump‑start your vision, and every participant will also receive a free 1‑hour DIYcave studio time credit to keep the creativity flowing.

Space is limited to 12 participants per workshop, with a team of dedicated designers, material manipulators, and technical teachers ready to meet you wherever you are in the process. Come with garment ideas, material samples, and an open mind.

Workshop Dates

• Rubbish Renewed Design Workshop 1: Friday, February 20, 4–6 PM
• Rubbish Renewed Design Workshop 2: Friday, March 6, 4–6 PM

The 2026 Rubbish Renewed Eco Fashion Show will be held at the Pavilion on Saturday, May 9th, 2026, and garment submissions are due Friday, April 3rd.
