Let your creativity take flight in our upcoming Feather Stained Glass Suncatcher Class! This dreamy design is perfect for adding a touch of color and movement to your window. Great for beginners and seasoned makers alike—come make something beautiful that shines in the sun! ☀️✨

By the end of the session, you’ll leave with a beautiful, handcrafted colorful feather ready to hang in your window—and a solid foundation in stained glass skills to inspire future creations.

Day 1: In the first class, you will learn about glass types, how to score and break glass for complex pattern designs, grinding the finish shape, and applying copper foil.

Homework: Most students do not finish grinding and foiling their pieces during the inital class. For those that need it, you will be able to book tme in our Glass Studio Thursday - Sunday in between classes to finish.

Day 2: During the second class, you will solder, make and add attach hooks, add patina (if desired), wax and your sun-catcher will be ready to hang.

Notes : *Due to the use of lead during soldering, we do not recommend students that are pregnant or breastfeeding take our stained glass classes. Please arrive for class in closed-toe, closed-heel shoes with socks that protect up to the ankle. Long hair must be tied back. Layers are encouraged as the shop can be very cold or very hot. If you have personal protective equipment such as your own safety goggles, please bring it with you. Otherwise, protective gear will be provided as needed.
