Come spend your afternoon walking, socializing and learning key physical activity related information to promote your function in meaningful tasks and decrease your risk of falls! Each week we will discuss a different topic (with the later topics selected by group members)! Topics will include decreasing fall risk, setting meaningful function-based goals, navigating physical activity with chronic pain, decreasing risk of exercise-related injuries, the role technology can play in increasing physical activity and physical safety and more!

This group is a physical activity promotion initiative (although the information/programming will be led by a physiotherapist, the class is not eligible for coverage through health insurance and specific medical advice will not be able to be provided).

Notes : If you are at all unwell, please do not attend GNAG activities. in the interest of protecting the health of the other participants and staff. Refunds, Credits and Transfers Notification required: Program/Class/Workshop requires at least 1 week's notice in advance of the start date and time. PA Day/camp requires at least 2 weeks' notice in advance of the start date and time. 1. Within notification period: Refund with 7% admin fee or credit on GNAG account with no fee. 2. Less than notification period: Refunds or credits on GNAG account will not be issued. 3. Change your mind? Notify us first! We can help. A transfer requires the same period of notification. Pro-rated refunds will be given with a medical certificate should a refund be approved. Emilie’s classes, memberships for indoor playground, school walkovers, PA Day programs, pottery studio and fitness memberships and tickets are NON- REFUNDABLE. There will be no refunds for tickets to our events. There will be no refunds after the program mid-point.
