A One Week Musical Theatre Program for students having finished grades 4-9!

This week-long camp is perfect for beginners who want to learn the basics of musical theatre or for more experienced performers looking to take their skills to the next level. With a focus on choreography, vocal technique, and acting skills, students will learn everything they need to know to put on a show-stopping performance.

But the Set the Stage! Summer Musical Series is more than just a performing arts camp. It's a safe and supportive environment where kids can learn and grow, building their confidence and making new friends along the way. And with a curriculum modeled after our popular summer program, the Kamloops Interior Summer School of Music, students will have access to top-notch instruction from experienced instructors who know what it takes to succeed in the world of musical theatre.

About the Show:

Into the Woods JR. features all of your favorite characters — Cinderella, Little Red Riding Hood, Jack (and his beanstalk) and the Witch — in this lyrically rich retelling of classic Brothers Grimm fables.

The musical centers on a baker and his wife, who wish to have a child; Cinderella, who wishes to attend the King's festival; and Jack, who wishes his cow would give milk. When the baker and his wife learn that they cannot have a child because of a witch's curse, the two set off on a journey to break the curse, and wind up changed forever.
