Part Boarding December 2024-March 2025

Monthly subscription automatically renews December, January, February and March on the 15th of each month.  

 

What is Part Boarding? 

Part Boarding is when clients pay a monthly fee to ride one of our well-schooled horses twice a week.

Benefits:

 

Benefits of signing up for lessons:

  • Taught by certified Instructors who know your horse
  • Well-schooled horses
  • Specific progress made towards your goals of either improving your riding skills or Equestrian Canada Rider levels 

 

Commitment 

  • 2 rides per week - $350/month (part board)
  • TEAD takes care of all farrier, vet, worming and any other expenses that may arise.
  • *cost of the mandatory monthly lesson are not included

Rules & Regulations

  • Minimum age 18 years old
  • Must ride with a buddy!
  • No jumping - ground poles are permitted
  • Barn hours are 9am to 7pm - a detailed schedule of available riding times will be provided
  • Must warm up & cool down horse properly
  • Clean tack after each ride
  • Please review our Rules & Regulations
  • Put your horse away after your ride in the same place you took them from (e.g if your horse was outside, please put them in that same paddock with blanket(s) put back on)
  • Must clean up after your horse
  • Please sign in and sign out using the check-in sheets provided
  • Enter a detailed log of your ride in our schooling records (binder in tack room)
  • Horse may not be taken off property

 

To be eligible to part board a horse, clients must:

  • agree to take a minimum of one lesson a month with one of our certified instructors
  • be a current OE member or equivalent (must provide proof upon sign-up)
  • attend a virtual safety meeting before the start of the session
  • be evaluated ($45) to ensure the horse they are interested in is suitable & safe for their riding level

 

If you are not an experienced rider but would like to take some lessons with us on our well-schooled horses, please email troton@tead.on.ca or check which recreational lessons are still available in our store.  

If you are new to TEAD and would like to part-board, please contact troton@tead.on.ca to arrange a time for a trial ride.  This is to determine which horse is best suited to you and your current riding level.

Quarter Boarding is when clients pay a monthly fee to ride one of our well-schooled horses once a week.
