Measuring in at just under 4000 sq. ft (North & South Side) the roof of the Chalet needs to be replaced.
The Chalet was completed back in the late 60's with a Cedar Shake roof that has held up remarkably well.
However, time and weather has taken its toll.
Annually, the club hosts SAR training sessions, Wilderness First Aid, AST1 & AST 2 as well as numerous private functions including elementary school field trips and Cub/Scout adventure weekends.
To maintain this historical structure properly, the BTSC/Alpine Learning Center is looking for help to fund the replacement of the roof.
Whether it be the actual donation of the proper roofing material or a cash donation, we appreciate your consideration to helping preserve this alpine Chalet
