Leisure and Boat Share membership rentals

Craft included in policy: Canoes, Kayaks, Stand Up Paddleboards, Outrigger Canoes

Rental Includes

10 minute orientation, PFD, Paddle, Leash (if applicable), Bailing device and 15M heaving line

Reservations

It is highly recommended to make a reservation to ensure a craft is available and in case of weather cancellations so that you can be notified. Reservations with payment on-site are not guaranteed.

Rentals Reservation Cancellation Policy

We try to be as accommodating and fair as possible. The rules below are to ensure that there’s flexibility for when things change and the club does not lose out on being able to rent to others. Any exceptions to the below rules are at the sole discretion of the club.

Rentals: 12 hours notice to cancel

Tours and lessons: 7 days

In the event that the club cancels your reservation a full refund will be provided

For any cancellations within 12 hours we will attempt to reach you at the phone number and email provided.

Safety

Adults over the age of 18 and over are permitted to rent our craft without any restrictions, but may be asked to demonstrate proper control of craft before leaving visual range of club. Proper control for most of our craft is normally attainable within the 10 minute orientation.

Youth under 18 must provide parental consent.

Children aged 15 and under who are at least 5ft tall can go on the water on their own as long as an adult is within visual range at all times.

While stand up paddleboarding, PFD’s and a leash must be worn at all times on the water.

Those wishing to rent an Outrigger canoe must demonstrate a safe capsize and recovery in person or have record of prior completion.
