Welcome to the Dolphin and Pups session! This introductory course is intended for parents and children to bond in the water. We want your child to have an enjoyable first experience learning how to swim. We will review safety around the water for both you and your child. In water sessions we will teach floating on the front and back, submersion, holding breath and blowing bubbles. Age-appropriate skills for all children. Safety skill that involves getting out of the water - reaching safe places in the pool.   

Once a year, your Pup swimmer will receive an adorable "I Learned to Swim" shirt.

Note: All children learn and progress at different rates. High 5 is committed to the success of each child's skill progression prior to advancing to the next skill level. Any questions about your child's progress, contact your child's instructor directly. Your child's instructor will inform you when your child has successfully graduated to Clownfish.

Group classes must have minimum of 4 students to be held. High 5 may combine classes if class minimums are not met to provide a better group lesson experience. Specific swim instructor is not guaranteed.

Notes: WEATHER POLICY In the event of inclement weather (lightning or severe storms), the lesson will be cancelled and a credit issued to your account for the cancelled class. Due to quick changing weather patterns, lessons may be cancelled with little notice. Cancellations and announcements will be communicated via telephone or email. MAKE-UP/CREDIT POLICY FOR GROUP SWIM LESSONS Credits and make up classes are only available for swim lessons that are cancelled by the High 5. Credits will be issued on a pro-rated amount for lessons cancelled prior to the start of the lesson or during the first half of the lesson. Classes with more than half the lesson finished will be considered completed and no credit will be issued. Credits must be used within 90 days of issue. Credits applied to your account after September must be used by the last day of the year they were credited. Credits are only valid for aquatic programming such as group or private lessons. REFUND OR CREDIT POLICY No refund or credit will be issued after the start of the session except for situations such as death of a family member, prolonged illness/injury, or family emergencies.
