Sea Turtle is an intermediate level of swimming. To enter Sea Turtle, your swimmer should be able to swim 15-yards of freestyle and 15-yards of backstroke independently. They need to be confident in the water and be able to take directions. Swimmer will learn how to swim 25 yards of freestyle with rotary breathing and correct body positioning. A strong focus will be on backstroke swimming techniques and body positioning in 25-yard swim lengths.

When a swimmer has successfully mastered all Sea Turtle skills, they will receive a ribbon and move onto the Blue Wave Manta Rays. Manta Rays is the first level of the Blue Wave swim team.

Note: High 5 is committed to the success of each child's skill progression prior to advancing to the next skill level. All children learn and progress at different rates. If you have any questions about your child's progress, discuss them with the instructor. The instructor determines when your child is ready to move onto Blue Wave Manta Rays.

Annual registration is required. Once registered, your swimmer will receive a "Swim for the Win" t-shirt.

Group classes must have a minimum of 3 students to be held. High 5 may combine classes if class minimums are not met to provide a better group lesson experience. Specific swim instructor is not guaranteed.

Notes: WEATHER POLICY  In the event of inclement weather (lightning or severe storms), lesson will be cancelled and a credit issued to your account to be used for make-up lessons. Due to quick changing weather patterns, lessons may be cancelled with little notice. Cancellations and announcements will be communicated via text and email.  MAKE-UP POLICY FOR GROUP SWIM LESSONS Make-up credits are issued for individual swim lessons that are cancelled by High 5. Classes with more than half the lesson finished will be considered completed and no credit will be issued. Make-up credits are good for 45 days. Each credit is equivalent to one make-up lesson. REFUND OR CREDIT POLICY  Swim lessons are non-refundable. Swim lesson cancellations must be  completed prior to 48 hours before the start of the session.
