Description:

Those who are 14 to 17 years old and Elected Lay Representatives, or current CW PM Youth Council Members, to Pacific Mountain Regional Council's 6th Annual General Meeting.

• "CW PM Youth Council Members" are 14-17 years old who applied to and were appointed by regional council’s First Third Ministry team and Youth Council. Youth Council is an active leadership and learning group that participates in the life and work of annual general meeting as like Voting Delegates, as well as meets during the year for additional United Church engagements.
• "Voting Delegates - 14, 15, 16, 17 Years Old" (known as 'Youth Delegates') attend the AGM as full voting attendees and also participate in scheduled Youth Council gatherings held before and after plenary (the AGM meeting sessions). These gatherings are about team building, socializing, and learning more about Youth Council roles and actions. During AGM plenary, Youth Delegates and Youth Council share the meeting experiences (table groups) and participation (discussion, voting).

Evening Hours

At the close of Youth Council/Delegate’s evening time together, Youth Delegates are reunited with their Parent/Guardian or Sponsor, who they remain in the care of until the next day's First Third Ministry check-in time.

• Overnight, Youth Delegates are supervised and in the care of their Parent/Guardian or Designated Sponsor.
• Overnight, Youth Council members are supervised by and in the care of First Third Ministry staff and volunteers.

Notes: Parent/Guardians of Youth Delegates being accompanied to AGM by a Designated Sponsor will be contacted by First Third Ministry Staff to acquire information about your Designated Sponsor.
