Legacy Dance Company
Fundraising is mandatory as a member of the competitive team. We run two types of fundraising events: studio-wide fundraisers and individual fundraisers. • Studio-wide fundraisers support overall studio needs such as banquet, recital, and facility improvements. • Individual fundraisers directly benefit YOU by helping offset your personal dance expenses (costumes, competition fees, tuition, studio clothing, makeup, and more). As part of the competitive team, there is a one-time, non-refundable fundraising fee of $100 per dancer per season (payable to the Parent Association). This fee allows families to participate in all fundraisi opportunities throughout the year and helps cover the administrative work that goes into planning and coordinating each event. On average, families can expect 5–10 fundraising opportunities per season. Please note: The $100 fundraising fee is mandatory for all competitive dancers. There is no opt-out option.
60 Novice Class Membership & Admin Fee All novice class dancers are required to pay a non-refundable administrative fee upon registration. This fee covers important behind-the-scenes costs that help us keep the studio running smoothly, such as: • Scheduling and registration system management • Insurance and licensing • Studio supplies and equipment upkeep • Music licensing and choreography rights • General administration support for staff and families In addition, this fee also includes two important recital-related deposits that help spread out costs throughout the year: • $20 toward your dancer’s recital photo & media package (professional photos + show media) • $20 toward your dancer’s recital costume deposit This way, families contribute gradually toward recital expenses while we ensure everything is prepared well in advance for a polished year-end performance experience.
Our $60 Membership / Amin Fee This annual fee helps us cover the essential “behind-the-scenes” costs that keep our season running smoothly. It includes dancer account setup, insurance coverage, music licensing, competition entry and scheduling, music editing, communication platforms, and coordination for recitals, photos, and studio events. This ensures families don’t have to worry about hidden costs and allows our staff to stay focused on delivering the best experience for your dancer.
