Turn code into a competitive sport by transforming a Circuit Playground Express(CPX) into a functional infrared blaster!

In this high-energy workshop, you will program your CPX to send and receive IR "laser" signals using Microsoft MakeCode and then engineer a custom battle-rig from scratch using cardboard, tape, and grit. Whether you're a first-time coder or a master maker, you’ll solve real-world design challenges through rapid prototyping before gearing up to test your creation in a live-action arena.

No prior experience is required, and all supplies are provided—just bring your creativity and a competitive spirit! Take home the project by purchasing a CPX at checkout or bringing your own from home.
