Ready to stop playing games and start making them? Join our intensive six-hour Game Creator Bootcamp using Microsoft MakeCode Arcade. This workshop is perfect for beginners, guiding students through a user-friendly, drag-and-drop coding environment to build an arcade game from scratch. You will learn fundamental programming concepts in a practical, hands-on way while creating custom sprites, programming character movement, setting up winning and losing conditions, and adding fun elements like power-ups. Students will leave with a finished, playable game they can share, along with a solid foundation in coding and game design.

Required age: 8 - 15 years old on the day of the activity

Notes: Make sure to pack a lunch for this all day bootcamp! Students will take a break from 12PM - 1PM for lunch.
