Description:

Join us for a powerful evening of song, connection, and remembrance. Voices Together: Commemorating October 7 draws inspiration from the Israeli tradition of Singing in the Square; public community sing-alongs that take place in central city squares such as Rabin Square in Tel Aviv and Safra Square in Jerusalem.

While often a festive cultural tradition, Singing in the Square takes on a deeply moving and respectful tone during Israel’s national memorial days. These gatherings bring communities together through collective singing, moments of silence, and the sharing of personal stories. They create a space where generations connect, grief is held communally, and songs become a bridge between memory and hope.

In that spirit, our program will feature a community sing-along with heartfelt songs in Hebrew and English, many written after October 7. These are songs of healing, resilience, and unity, songs that remind us that every voice matters. Together we will sing, listen, and stand with one another as we honor the lives lost, support those still impacted, and affirm our shared strength.

We invite you to be part of this meaningful gathering as our community comes together to heal, to remember, and to raise our voices in hope.

Price: $0.00 Taxes waived

Notes: This evening is not a performance but a participatory experience. Whether you know every word or none at all, you are welcome. Lyrics will be available so that all can join in, and the emphasis will be on collective expression rather than perfection.
