Terms and Conditions

The following terms and conditions are mandatory for all Team Triumph Triathlon Club (TTTC) Programs. Anyone registering with the Team Triumph Triathlon Club must read and agree to these terms and conditions to complete your registration.

Pricing Policy

TTTC takes care to ensure that registration and the fees listed on our website and materials are correct and we try to keep our prices constant throughout the year. We reserve the right to change our prices at any time without further notice. If there is a price increase and you have registered for a session that has not started, we will notify you of the price change and allow you the option to accept the change or cancel the session without penalty.

Payment Terms and Refund Policy

TTTC reserves the right to change and/or cancel sessions depending on registration and to accommodate special circumstances and other emergency situations.
Payment in full on registration. Certain programs allow payment plans. They will be identified with a tag that says “installments”.
All Punch Passes and Drop In Classes must be used in the term/season that they were purchased

Administration & Service fees

Declined Payments: $25 for any declined payment.
Change fee: $15 to change programs in each season.
Cancellation fee: $25 each occurrence for approved non-medical refunds before the program has commenced
Customers may cancel TTTC sessions up to one week prior to the start of the program (date various depending on season). For special events, the cancellation policy will be provided in the announcement. A cancellation fee is applied to all non-medical cancellations.

Medical Cancellations

Medical cancellations are calculated on a pro-rated basis. TTTC members must provide a completed medical report to the Club Administrator within 2 weeks of injury and a medical note no later than 1 week after the TTTC program ends. The medical note should clearly describe any limitations or restrictions to training in order to help the Administrator calculate the credit.
Refunds will be issued for approved cancellations less any fees or outstanding balances on an account.
There are NO non-medical refunds after the one week deadline before a program commences and NO refunds, credits, substitutions or makeups for missed sessions.

Emergency Action Plan

Our TTTC Coaches have a valid first aid certificate and will act as first aid responder in a medical situation. If they are not present, seek out pool facility lifeguards (first response) or any Ottawa Athletic Club employee to attend a medical emergency.
The member authorizes the TTTC to secure such medical advice and services according to the Emergency Action Plan. The member accepts all financial responsibility in excess of any benefits authorized by provincial or private insurance coverage.
All members must provide Emergency Contact information when they register.

Waiver of Liability

TTTC takes care to safeguard the health, safety and welfare of the member. The member agrees that neither TTTC, the Ottawa Athletic Club, the Canterbury Pool, the NCC nor the City of Ottawa is responsible for any injury, loss or damage incurred by the member while traveling to or from, or while participating in TTTC programs, practices, competitions and other activities. The member (Parent/Guardian if under 18 years of age) shall indemnify the TTTC, the Ottawa Athletic Club, the Canterbury Pool, the NCC and the City of Ottawa and hold them harmless from any claims, demands or actions arising from or in respect of such injury, loss or damage.

Helmet Policy

All cyclists must wear a helmet during all rides.

Media Policy

TTTC may use members’ names, photographs, interviews or videos to promote our successes on our website, social media, in our showcase or emails or through media releases to the public. Please contact the Club Administrator if you do not want your image or name shared publicly.

TRIATHLON ONTARIO

All members of TTTC must be a current member of Triathlon Ontario. Only current TTTC members receive a discount on Triathlon Ontario memberships. Memberships expire on December 31st every year.

PRIVACY POLICY

TTTC is committed to respecting the privacy of individuals and recognizes the need of people with whom we do business for the appropriate management and protection of any Personal Information that you agree to provide to us. Our Privacy Management Plan includes guidelines on the collection, storage, use and retention of your Personal Information as follows:

Collection: TTTC collects personal information about individuals in order to better manage it’s business. TTTC will make all reasonable efforts to fully inform such individuals about the planned use/disclosure. TTTC will limit the collection and use of personal information to that required for valid business purposes or to comply with legislation.
Accuracy: TTTC will make every reasonable effort to ensure that the personal information it collects and uses is accurate and complete. Individuals providing personal information will have the opportunity to review and correct their personal information, and on written request by an individual to whom the information relates, TTTC will modify the information as required.
Storage: TTTC will store personal information using hard copy and/or electronic means in such a way as to prevent unauthorized collection, access, use, disclosure or disposal of the personal information.
Disclosure: TTTC will not disclose personal information unnecessarily to employees or any third party, unless the effected individual consents.
