Each 3rd grade musician receives an instrument, book, and music stand to take home for the year. In our universal 3rd grade in-school band program all of our 3rd graders receive approximately 50 periods of small group lessons over the course of the school year with a master teacher who is a professional performing musician, teaching on their primary instrument. Children choose from flute, clarinet, saxophone, trumpet, trombone, percussion, guitar, violin, chorus, and xylophone ensemble.
