Description :

Learn to Row is the first step in the learning path for anyone starting rowing.  You'll attend six two-hour classes, where qualified coaches will help you acquire the fundamental skills needed to become a competent rower. You will become acquainted with the basics of rowing movement, safety, terminology, and commands through on-land and on-water instruction. Depending on class size, you will have the chance to row in different boat sizes and configurations.

If you purchase an ERC membership in the same year that you complete your learn-to-row course, you will receive a $100 discount on your membership

Notes : To participate in a rowing activity, you must also become a member of Rowing Canada Aviron and the Alberta Rowing Association. You'll create an RCA account and purchase those memberships as part of the ERC process.

Prérequis : Participants should be comfortable on the water and be able to swim. The ERC provides personal flotation devices for use during lessons.
