Adult Membership (Community Sailing)

Adult Sailing Access offers scheduled sailing sessions from May through September for adults who want to stay active on the water beyond their courses.

This membership is about consistency, confidence and community. It provides a structured opportunity to sail regularly, connect with other adult sailors and enjoy time on the water.

Adult Sailing Access is where course graduates become regular sailors.

Members rig, launch and sail together during coordinated access sessions, supported by on-site staff and safety boat oversight. Designated evenings include relaxed community sailing and optional post-sail BBQ use, giving members the chance to connect and enjoy time by the water beyond the sailing session itself.

Adult Sailing Access is not an instructional program. It is an opportunity to sail regularly, build experience and remain part of the Compass Adventure sailing community.

Sailing Access Session Structure

Before launching:
• Boats are checked for proper rigging
• Safety gear is confirmed
• Staff ensure all sailors are ready

Launches occur as a coordinated fleet. Sailors remain within designated sailing areas under safety boat supervision.

Return to shore also happens as a coordinated group. The session end time reflects when all boats are expected to be back within the compound and in the process of being fully put away.
