Description :
This fun and engaging program is designed to keep kids learning during their time off from school with a new, exciting theme each day. Through a mix of hands-on activities, games, crafts, and experiments, your child will explore fascinating topics in science and nature without even realizing they’re learning! The program is designed for drop-ins or the whole week!
Marine Mammal Monday
Marine mammals are often our favorite animals in the ocean! On Monday, we’ll dive into the world of these amazing creatures to learn what makes them mammals, how they survive in the ocean, and why we’re so fascinated by them. From dolphins to whales, it’s a deep dive into ocean life!
Trilobite Tuesday
Step back in time and discover the prehistoric world of trilobites and other ancient sea creatures! These remarkable arthropods thrived in the oceans for over 270 million years. We’ll explore their unique features, why they were so successful, and how they help scientists understand the past.
Wacky Weather Wednesday
Ever heard the saying “If you don’t like the weather, just wait”? New England’s weather is famously unpredictable, and on Wednesday, we’ll find out why! Through experiments and activities, kids will explore weather patterns, learn how storms form, and get hands-on with weather science.
Think Like a Scientist Thursday
Every great scientist starts with curiosity—and so can you! On Thursday, we’ll introduce kids to the scientific method and let them step into the role of a scientist. They’ll form hypotheses, conduct experiments, and observe results, all while having fun exploring science in action.
Frozen Friday
The polar regions of our planet are some of the harshest environments on Earth, yet they are home to some of the most fascinating creatures! On Friday, we’ll investigate how animals like polar bears and penguins survive extreme cold and learn about the unique adaptations that allow life to thrive in these frozen worlds.
Each day is a new adventure in science, where learning is disguised as fun! Sign up for one class or the whole week!
