This class will introduce the basic rowing fundamentals of sculling using a variety of tools including rowing tanks, Concept 2 ergometers and large stable quadruple sculling shells. Students will learn and practice the technique of the rowing stroke then learn skills to manage the boat on the dock and in the Bay safely. Students will be taking turns rowing and steering (coxing) once on the water. No previous experience required. Students who have had indoor rowing or limited on the water rowing experience are also encouraged to sign up for this class.
