Join us at Mountain Plaza in Vail Village for the 2023 Kids Balance Bike Race powered by Gorsuch to kick off a great weekend of adventure for the whole family! Riders age five and under are invited to participate in a race with challenging and fun obstacles.

 

Participants will be divided by age and will compete in small groups to vie for the championship. Racers will receive an official commemorative race plate and participation prize. Racers must compete on a balance bike - no pedal bikes please! Helmets are required for all racers.

 

Bib pickup and course pre-riding will begin at 9 a.m. and the races kick off at 9:30 a.m. Balance bike riders will be able to have their photo taken by the Paparazzi (mom and dad) in the Paparazzi Zone. The race is capped at 50 riders, so don't wait to sign up!

9:00 am – Bib pickup begins, course opens for pre-riding

9:30am – 2-year-old race

10am - 3-year-old race

10:45am – 4 & 5-year-old race
