Find creative inspiration to capture the beauty of plants and flowers in watercolour. Teaching Artist Alice Melo will teach you techniques that will capture the forms and colours of blossoms and leaves. She gives step-by-step instructions to help you build the skills you need to realistically paint plants and flowers: leaves, veins, stems, and branches. Learn how to add detail to create convincing texture, add depth, and how to depict the light, luminosity, and delicate character of flowers to your art. This course will offer lots of tips for creating a composition, understanding and seeing the value, and transferring photo references as well as providing lots of demonstrations and individual guidance.

This course is open to advanced beginners and intermediate students.
