We are excited to announce our 2025 Summer Fencing + Science Camp! The camp will consist of half day Science led by Engineering For Kids (EFK) and half day fencing! 

The camp is open to both kids 5-13 looking to try fencing for the first time and intermediate fencers. Groups will be divided by age and experience

Schedule:

• 9am-12pm:
  • Fencing for 5 to 7yo
  • Science for 8 to 13yo
• 12pm-1pm: Lunch & Games
• 1pm-4pm:
  • Fencing for 8 to 13yo
  • Science for 5 to 7yo

Program Details:

• Science for 8-13yo - App Development Using JavaScript 
  • Join this exciting program where kids dive into the world of coding and create their very own
    apps using JavaScript! This  hands-on experience makes coding approachable and fun, giving participants the tools to design, test, and refine apps in real time. Participants will be able to save their apps directly to their devices, so they can play and share
    them anywhere, anytime!
• Science for 5-7yo Junior Inventors Camp:
  • Kids will explore their creative side while designing and building their very own inventions.
     delights. Using the Engineering Design Process, kids will solve exciting challenges and bring their wildest ideas to life. 
• Fencing Session:
  • The fencing portion will introduce kids to fencing footwork, bladework, and strategy! They will also play games designed to develop physical literacy and cooperation. 

Camp Details:

• Location: EPIC Fencing Club – 3309 9 Street SE, Calgary
• Discounts:
  • Early bird discount: 5% until May 5th
  • Family discount applied for multiple family members participating (10% for each additional participant).
  • Epic Members receive 10% discount. 
  • All discounts will be automatically applied at checkout (except member discount)
• Cancellation Policy:
  • Requests for refunds for Camps will be refunded in full less $20 administrative fee up until 2 weeks prior to the start of the event
  • Requests for refunds for Epic events less than 2 weeks prior to the start of the event will only be refunded at 50% of the event fees and $20 administration fee.

Prerequisites: For kids 5-13yo. Beginner or Intermediate fencers
