Gymnastics Saskatchewan
Description
Gymnastics Saskatchewan’s vision is to “INSPIRE THE ATHLETE IN EVERYONE”. We are a non-profit corporation, - the provincial sport governing body responsible for overseeing the seven disciplines of gymnastics—women’s artistic gymnastics, men’s artistic gymnastics, trampoline gymnastics, rhythmic gymnastics, sport aerobics, sport acrobatics and general gymnastics/gymnastics for all. Gymnastics Saskatchewan is governed by a volunteer Board of Directors and a complement of professional staff and technical committees. Our mission is to direct and support the development and delivery of quality programs for province wide participation at all levels, celebrating our successes. We were incorporated as a volunteer based, non-profit organization in 1975, and are active members of Sask Sport and Gymnastics Canada. Gymnastics Saskatchewan is a leader in the sport community. Participants of all ages and abilities enjoy taking part in gymnastics activities offered by our eighty member clubs across the province. Gymnastics Saskatchewan regulates and administers coaching and officials certification and education programs. We provide technical and organizational leadership through our athlete centered model. We foster recreational program opportunities for the development of fun, fitness and fundamental skills and also develop and nurture competitive and high performance sport programs for athletes who aspire to reach their fullest potential.
